Something not working, or a menu that came out wrong? Write to us and we’ll take a look.
Include your iPhone model, iOS version and a screenshot if something looks wrong. Please don’t send photos of people.
A dish was sorted wrongly
Greenlit uses AI to read menus, so it can misread a dish or miss an ingredient. Email us a screenshot and we’ll look into it. For anything that matters to your health, confirm with the restaurant too.
Is Greenlit medical or allergy advice?
No. It’s a guide that helps you read a menu faster. It can’t see how a kitchen prepares food, so it can’t account for cross-contamination, and it isn’t a substitute for asking the restaurant.
Do I need an account? Where does my profile go?
No account. Your diets and allergies stay on your phone and the sorting happens there. When you scan a menu, only the photos are sent off to be read; your profile is never part of that. See the privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
Open Profile → Settings. Clear Scan History deletes your saved menus and the menu photos on your phone. Reset Profile clears your diets, allergies and preferences. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. We don’t keep your menu photos on our servers. For anything else, email us.
I got a message about a scan limit
To keep the service running for everyone, there’s a limit on how many menus can be scanned per hour. Wait a little and try again. Menus you’ve already scanned can still be reopened.
Does it work without a connection?
Scanning a new menu needs a connection because the menu is read on our servers. Menus you’ve already scanned open from your phone and re-sort against your profile without one.
